FIRST BIRTHDAY SESSION | HOUSTON SMASH CAKE

Miss Rose wrapped up her First Year Collective membership with a cake smash for her first birthday session with her family. I’m not sure where time went, but it feels like only a few months have passed since I was in her home for her newborn session and only days since her sitter session. I am so incredibly honored her family chose me to document her first year!

So what exactly is a First Birthday Session? It’s typically a family portrait session which documents your baby at their one-year milestone. We keep the focus on the birthday boy or girl and the session typically ends with a smash cake. It’s the last session for my First Year Collective members but can also be booked separately as a single session.

Mama’s dress was provided by the client wardrobe. Antique white high chair & wooden “one” sign  are available to all clients.
