Keep Your Home Comfortable

A cozy home ensures happy, calm, and sleepy babies:

• Set the temperature around 70–72°F to keep baby warm and comfortable.
• Declutter lightly: Focus on the main living areas (think living room), master bedroom (hello big windows + natural light), and nursery. Don’t stress — I may move a few items to create clean compositions and will return everything afterward.
• Special spaces: If your home has other spots with large windows, pretty wallpaper, a statement staircase, or a bright foyer, I’ll want to use these too. Natural light is key!
• Front of home: I love photographing families in front of their home — it’s where you brought your baby home and for many families, it’s their first family home. Make sure your front porch or entryway is cleared off for these shots.

Feeding & Timing

Timing your baby’s feeding can make a big difference:

• Feed baby right before I arrive. A full belly = calm, happy baby.
• Allow natural breaks if baby needs to pause for feeding, cuddles, or diaper changes.
